Applied coefficients are fixed snapshots. Re-evaluate after geometry or flow changes and choose the duct with the correct reference velocity.

¹ Additional outlet loss required to balance paths at specified flows. Fan duty must also include losses outside this model.
Calculation method and scope
WebAssembly calculation coreDarcy-Weisbach friction with recovered regime paths, equivalent circular diameter, equal-friction sizing, velocity sizing and nearest-increment rounding run in a compiled C module.
Specified-flow tree designOutlet flows sum upstream through a rooted tree. The app sums path losses, identifies the critical run and reports balancing damper requirements. Rectangular sizing preserves the entered aspect ratio.
Reconstruction statusNative project import, the fitting catalogue and fixed-geometry loop balance are available in their workspaces. Full original-program numerical parity remains unverified. Automatic fitting updates and complete native sizing orchestration are being reconstructed.
